About This Site
Furrygoat 2.0 (formerly The Furrygoat Experience) has been online since December 2001. The original purpose of this blog was to share interesting links, and be a backup of my brain – a permanent online record so I wouldn’t have to write everything down. If I come across an interesting link, find some neat new technology, or purely want to bitch about something, I create a post.
About Steve Makofsky
Steve Makofsky is a senior program manager at Microsoft.
I’ve hiked in some unusual places and enjoy home theater as well as coming up with interesting ways to use embedded devices around the house. I am a general gadget and technology freak.
Steve is the author of several magazine articles, as well as two books: Pocket PC Network Programming and Teach Yourself Windows CE Programming in 24 Hours.
Around the Internet
My email address is on the bottom of every page. Feel free to shoot me mail, or leave comments in a particular post that interests you – I try to respond in a timely fashion. To be honest, I usually check the more recent comments, and it’s rare that I look at anything more than a few weeks old.
