After 1888 posts, this experiment is pretty much over. I’m sure at some point, something will be back up here in it’s place, but it almost certainly won’t be a blog. Thanks for tagging along on the ride.

So it goes.

As a former boss used to say to customers: “thanks a lot, shut up, get out.”

Anyone starting a pool to see how long ya stay away for? :)

I expect the office pool will be about which comes first: the next blog post or kid #3.

I laughed at the image and unintentional “tagging” pun, but cried at the misuse of “it’s” and of course the ending. A tragicomedy. Overall, two thumbs up.

Now that Harry Potter has concluded, I suppose there’s just no serious competition for furrygoat anymore, no reason to continue. However, questions linger at the close: What was the hypothesis, and did the experiment confirm or reject it? What happens to the archives? Will Google Ads flag the goat as defunct, or will it remain a cash cow? When the wayback machine archives a page with ads, does it get the ad revenues? Topics for a future post, perhaps.

Say it ain’t so! I read a LOT of blogs and yours is by far one of my favorites. This is a huge loss. -sigh- Well, good luck with whatever it is you’ve decided to spend your time on instead.

    Always enjoyed your blog greatly!

Thanks for all the fish… I suppose. One by one, all the blogs that first came my way are falling aside.

Thanks for the fun, the insights, and the information. PocketFeed led me here and I’ve followed the blog as I went from Macromedia to IBM to Boeing to Macromedia to Adobe to Boeing. You were always relevant and always struck a good balance. May still more good balance come your way.

Well, BAD NEWS FOR ME… After I saw a link to this blog in PocketFeed in March, I liked reading it.

It is only remained to say your favourite phrase:

    SO IT GOES.

    Another Russian (July 26, 2007 @ 5:46 am)

BTW, what content will be in the RSS feed? Will be anything there? Or I can throw a link to the big and stinking bin?

I have to say I’m really shocked and saddened to see you go. This was one of the first blogs I ever started reading and has been one of the very few that I’ve stuck with. I’ve pretty much narrowed all of my rss feeds down to news sites and a just a few, maybe half-dozen, personal blogs, of which this was one. Well, best of luck in your continued adventures. It’s been great!

Goodbye! Another Scoble-wannabe bites the dust.

A brief farewall and a little gift in return for all those valuable posts and last not least pocketfeed that brought me here:

“Every day, think as you wake up, today I am fortunate to be

alive, I have a precious human life, I am not going to waste it. I

am going to use all my energies to develop myself, to expand my

heart out to others; to achieve enlightenment for the benefit of

all beings. I am going to have kind thoughts towards others, I am

not going to get angry or think badly about others. I am going to

benefit others as much as I can.”
