I didn’t stand in line like so many others, but on a whim I drove over to the Bellevue Square Apple store this morning. No lines, plenty of 8gb iPhones in stock, so I picked one up.
I started my activation at 2:45pm (which includes a number transfer), and am basically on “hold” - I’m getting the dreaded “Your activation requires additional time to complete”. 3:04 right now, still waiting…..
Update: Phone finally was activated around 9pm. 10 second review: amazing device, although a magnet for fingerprints..

You just wait - when the xPhone or zunePhone comes out, you will be amazed by its thickness, revolutionary d-pad and its ability to be social.
Welcome to the Social.

I have seen many on the web give their true .02 about the iPhone. What are your impressions? I am the classic demo for the phone, a 32 year-old computer industry guy that always wants to be connected. My biggest fear is that my company runs Windows XP, Outlook, and uses Exchange 2003. It is critical for me to be connected. Today I carry a Samsung Blackjack that I purchased for free with Cingular and I hate the device so much that I would rather use a cheap feature phone. The only problem is that I am now addicted to e-mail. Is the iPhone it?
