[John Ludwig] Apparently it is time to renew my Microsoft Alumni Network membership. $130. The only value I get is employee discounts on software. It is increasingly hard to justify this, there is darn little I want at the store.

I just renewed my membership, but I’m seriously questioning why. The only thing that I’ve bought at the store since leaving Microsoft back in February was Crackdown for the XBox 360 and it’s still sitting its plastic wrapper.

The only real thing that I can see buying is the new version of Office 2008 for the Mac - hopefully that will be out before I have to renew again next year.
