[Arurm Newtech] YouTube has gone live with Mobile YouTube at m.youtube.com. The requirements are a phone to be capable of video streaming (RTSP/3GP with H263/AMR) and you can use MMS, to upload YouTube videos directly from your phone.

So far, I’ve tried accessing the new mobile YouTube on a Blackberry Pearl and a T-Mobile Dash running Windows Mobile 6. No luck, both give protocol errors.

How ‘mobile’ is mobile YouTube if I can’t access it from anything?

Apparently, it is NOT ready for prime time. I have tried a BB 8300, Nokia N95, and a Nokia N800, and nothing happens during play, other than protocol errors. Tied straight to QT and same thing.

    Oh well.

If you want to save youtube video to you mobile phone as .3gp formats, you can try bywifi.com.
