Put simply, I’m in mole hell.

I feel like I’m about to turn into Bill Murray in Caddyshack and dynamite my entire lawn. For the last 2 months, I’ve been spending every weekend battling with those furry little bastards. It’s turned into a fairly routine exercise – all will be quite, then suddenly 5 or so new mounds of dirt show up. I pour some mole killer pellets that I got at Home Depot into the holes, and then all is quiet again.

Rinse and Repeat.

Today I woke up to 3 new ones, including a monster hole in the backyard. I’ve finally gone ahead and ordered the ‘molechaser‘ which some of my neighbor’s have used with luck (and probably the reason I have them now, they vacated all the surrounding properties).
