Now that most of my time is spent on a Macbook Pro, I finally caved last week and purchased Missing Sync so I can keep my Dash in sync with Entourage, Address Book, etc. Overall, I’m pretty happy with it – I’m able to plug in, sync and event mount the Dash as a drive on the Mac.

However, for the life of me, I can’t get syncing over Bluetooth to work. When I attempt to pair the phone with the Mac, the only ‘service’ I’m offered is ‘Serial’ – no ‘ActiveSync’ to be found. Even going through all the support documents on Bluetooth syncing hasn’t offered a solution that works.

Oh well, even though I’m stuck syncing via a cable, at least I can sync now.

Speaking of the Dash – does anyone know when the upgrade to Windows Mobile 6 will be out?

I just got a Dash as well and like you, purchased Missing Sync and have been pretty happy with it. I charge the Dash through USB connected to my iMac so it’s not a big deal not being able to sync through Bluetooth.

However, it still bugs me. Because I feel like I should be able to sync using Bluetooth. I haven’t been able to figure it out on my own either so if you happen to solve the puzzle I’d love to know as well.

The upgrade to WM6 should be out sometime in Q2 I’m told.

    Speaking of Missing Sync.

I am using Missing Sync for Blackberry (beta as of now) Pretty Good for a beta compared to PocketMac.

But, alas, no BT syncing, either…..

I’m about to move from PC to Mac (for the second time in my life) so I came across this post. I have been using Activesync with my PC for several years now and have never been able to do so with bluetooth, only cable. Just thought you might like to know.

Macbook – 10.4.9 – v3.0+ – HTC S620 WM5 –> no bluetooth. Cable sync works, but i hate having to get up, go up the stairs, get the cable, and come back to do a little sync operation … yeah i know im lazy
