MSDN Inconsistent

I don’t understand why there’s such an inconsistency on MSDN with regards to documents.
- There are web based documents like this one or this one.
- There are downloadable PDF files (Check out this entry, and select “What is .NET Micro Framework?“).
- There are downloadable DOC files (Check out this entry, and select “Office UI License and FAQ“, or check out this one).
- There’s DOC or PDF files in self-extracting .exe’s (Check out this one).
- I’m sure there’s a DOCX file up there someplace.
and it goes on and on. What’s super annoying is that I’m really interested in this document on the .NET MicroFramework, but the only way to view it is to download the PDF.
Here’s a simple solution: every document on MSDN should have a web based version and a downloadable version. Someone should pick a downloadable form of the document (wether it’s PDF/FlashPaper, DOC, CHM, etc., I don’t care) and just be consistent. No content should be allowed up there if it isn’t in that ‘blessed’ format. Simple. Done.

You forgot something, the new xps format. I’ve seen a couple of msdn, but also downloads, with the xps document format.

Do you mean something like they do on this site:

I wonder if Rick Holzli or if anyone at MSDN every used an Apple computer; oh wait, Rick used to work at Apple… I wonder if he can help change this!!!!!
