What Was Your First Amazon Order?

Inspired by Chad Dickerson’s post, I decided to go and check out my Amazon order history (and look at ‘orders by year’) to see what my first Amazon order was.
Turns out that mine was June 10, 1998 - I ordered the Microsoft Manual of Style for Technical Publications.
How boring. I do find it amusing that I had paid $25 or so for it, and it’s currently selling for .68.
What was your first Amazon order?

In their database, September 3, 1997, but I’m confident that was not my first order with them. Hmm.

A fist full of Star Trek books, I’m nearly shamed to say: I was going through about a book a week at the time.
The question is, didn’t Amazon start as “Stacks.com”? I would have sworn I ordered stuff from them pre-1997.

1994 paid around $5 including shipping.
This was ordered from an “Amazon Partner”. It arrived quickly, as advertised. Goofy thing was the packaging - it was wrapped in the brown paper from a grocery bag with the address written on it in crayon. Way too funny.
