Incredible. Not much else to say, except that I want one. More info up on the Apple website. I’m speechless.

I don’t even like phones and I want one. It’s shiny and fun. Let’s start making widgets for it now.

I for one while being surprised at some of the cool features, will not be plunking down the big cash for it. The biggest reason being no 3G data support. Also, it’s most certainly not a smartphone. I can’t look at MS Office documents. It also doesn’t have a removable battery which is a pretty important thing for a lot of phone users. I’ll wait for what’s next, and in the meantime I’ll stick with my XV6700.

It has EDGE, which is what my Dash is today. And, you are right - I can’t look at MS Office documents on it (well, no idea until we see the final features), but that’s also just like my Dash….

I’m glad to see your most recent post Steve, because I was going to flame you for getting too sucked into Job’s reality distortion field. iPhone is interesting, but it is not THAT interesting.

Hi Steve - Regarding AppleTV: If you have a MediaCenter machine w/iTunes on it, what good does ‘AppleTV’ do you?
I have this setup and it works well and gives me the best of both worlds. I can view video from iTunes on my plasma display plus the content is automatiically synched with WMP (because it is under ‘My Music’) so podcasts etc.are nicely synched w/the MCE box so I can quickly download/transcode to my portable flash device as well.
The only downside to this rosy picture is that I cannot buy many shows here in Denmark so I have to rely on video podcasts like the NPR ones that you tipped (thanks!).
