RAID NAS Enclosures?

Looks like Buffalo has upped the ante on NAS RAID enclosures by offering a new 2GB Terastation.
Here’s a question: Does anyone know where I can get a gigabit ‘enclosure’ for 4 SATA drives so that I could roll my own? What would rock is if Buffalo offered it’s Terastation as an empty enclosure so I could provide my own drives.

the Infrant Ready NAS NV is fairly nice. Hooked one up at home the other week. http://www.infrant.com/

I just bought an Infrant ReadyNas NV with no hard drives and this thing rocks! A little more expensive than the Terastation, but, to me, definitly worth it.

Is a NAS going to work with the 360 Media Extender? I have not been able to get my 360 to pull content from anything not directly connected to my MCE box. - At least not when running the extender client.

Audio and Photos *should* be usable, as long as a NAS has UPNP support. I was actually thinking of keeping a small (like a shuttle) case in the closet for mce/360 support, and mounting the drives on to that (so the 360 sees it)

I’m still not sure I understand the value of replacing a full on server with a NAS. The server is cheaper, more flexible and shouldn’t pull that much more power. I don’t get it.
Anyone?

I’m going to get a Infrant ReadyNAS with 2 500GB drives and add 2 more 500GB drives later.
