[Aaron Adams] I’d have to agree that technology, in its various forms, has made the world a better place, but at the moment I feel that improvement curve is on a downward slope. I quite literally find reading about technology, being around technological people, and using technology, exhausting.

Aaron has a really interesting read on why he’s ‘tired’ of technology, writing, gadgets, people, etc., and I can’t say that I disagree with him on many of his examples. Each year, it seems more people I know (I don’t know Aaron though, outside from reading his blog), are getting to this point. I often find that at the end of the week that I’m tired, grumpy and just want to unplug for a few days (which never happens, really).

His posts reminds me of another article from Technology Review in early 2005 - Does Technology Bring Happiness?
