[Furrygoat, April 1 2005] Sigh. Maybe its just another sign of me getting old ,
but for some reason the sheer number of fake press releases, blog
entries and email’s I’ve read today in "the spirit" of April 1st is
just plain annoying.
While I removed the comment from last year about a sinus infection (since I actually feel pretty decent today), one year later the onslaught of dumb posts on April 1st is just annoying the crap out of me (although, this one did catch my interest). Perhaps since I turn 35 in a few weeks, this is a sign that I really am getting old.
Guess it’s time to just shut down NetNewsWire and call it quits until tommorow.

You posted about negativity earlier, pehaps this is some form of negativity… I also think a lot of the april fool jokes are dumb but at least it changes from serious and boring news I tend to read because of addiction…

Dude, 35 is in no way old. You’ve not even reached middle age yet
That said, I do empathize with the feeling of being old. Most of my friends are at least 5 years younger than me. It’s humbling to listen to them talk about approaching their mid-twenties when I’m heading towards 30 at lightning speed.
