While some are critizing Apple’s RSS feeds (which I agree have some minor technical issues), I find it more interesting to observe that Apple has been able to do something no one else has - make podcasting both ‘legit’ and usable.

In typical Apple fashion, they’ve turned something completely geeky (I mean, who really cares about RSS and "podcasts") into a technology that the average person can see value in and enable them to accomplish complicated tasks in a simplistic fashion. I can easily see how this, as Kathy often says, will give users the "I Rule" feeling.

Of course, I don’t have to mention the incredible amount of value this brings to .Mac.

Absolutely. I have never felt the need to pay for .Mac, but I’m seriously considering it solely for the photocasting feature.
