After my post regarding PSP games not keeping my interest, I noticed today that Midway Arcade Treasures was released for PSP. I think I’m going to pick this one up, simply because it has some of the ‘classic’ games that I grew up with and loved: Xenophobe, Joust and of course, Marble Madness.
Wow, after all these years, those games are still getting my quarters.

Just wait a few years… your son will ask you to play “James Bond” (or whatever) and then proceed to kick your butt. Yeah… you’ll try to play it nice and straightforward like doom and he’ll be hitting the 37 million button combinations to give himself anti-gravity and invisible mode.
It is very humbling.
Of course, when he asks you to duel light sabers in Star Wars and you can’t figure out what to do so you just start hitting buttons at random - becoming what he refers to as a “beserker” - and you annililate him so bad that he tells his freinds about it… this redeems you self-esteem.
These days are coming, my friend… sooner than you think…
