Ever wonder what a particular DLL is? Or what the most recent version is? I was playing with MSN Desktop Search this morning, and thought it would make my life a little easier by adding a deskbar shortcut to search TechNet’s DLL Help Database.

In the search field, type: @dll,http://support.microsoft.com/dllhelp/?dlltype=file&S=1&alpha=$w

Now from the search field you can easily type "dll acctres.dll" to find out all the version information and details about the Microsoft Internet Account Manager DLL.
