[Poynter Online] Beginning in 2006, Microsoft says it will ship with its operating system and other software products six brand new typefaces created especially for extended on-screen reading.

Believe it or not, but these fonts are one of the best new things in Vista. I’ve been using them for a few months now, and Consolas has replaced the default fixed-width font in every editor I have.

Update: Looks like some people are unhappy with the Poynter article. Regardless of the article, the fonts still rock.
