Review: Art of Project Management

I’ve finally managed to finish reading Scott Berkun’s "The Art of Project Management" (website). My review in two words: Buy it.
Since I’ve seen Scott present before, I was already used to his style of sharing information: Instead of being ‘force fed’ the typical crap you get in most project management books, Scott talks to you. His experience through various teams at Microsoft really shines through in his writing, and his sense of humor really makes the book flow easily. If you’re in charge of a project (and not just a software project), I’d recommend the book. I just wish there were more pictures.
I actually enjoyed the book so much I gave a copy of it to our team GPM and told him "read this".
To be honest, the only thing I’d change in a future edition is the cover art. It deserved something ‘inspired’ instead of the drab gray and black ‘college text book’.
