Just Can’t Do It

Its wierd, I don’t know what’s going on with me lately. Despite the great reviews, friends picking it up, and the total hackability (is that a word) of the device, I just can’t bring myself to buy a Playstation Portable.
Don’t get me wrong - it’s a cool device. I got to play with a co-workers PSP last week, and I have to admit that it’s a solid design. But something in me is just preventing me from plopping down $250 on another electronic gadget.
Perhaps I should make a doctor’s appointment.

Don’t. Not yet anyway. Don’t get me wrong, I love mine. I think I know what’s holding you back: Games…
The games for it are definitely first gen. And the ones released so far exist in only a few genres. I’d say wait until there are more games that you would be interested in playing.

Here’s the thing, I was thinking about it today. If I could:
1) Attach a USB hard drive to it for videos or mp3’s
2) View a network share for videos or mp3’s via wifi
I’d be all over it.
