Well, after talking with some extremely helpful folks over on the Visual C++ team (thanks Michael and Martha), we’ve tracked down my ATL Wizard problem.
Here’s the skinny: Don’t choose not to install the Smart Device stuff in Visual C++. Doing so will break the ATL Wizard. I’ve been told this has been fixed, but it’s in builds later than Beta 2.
