Hmmm. Looks like my Portable CE project from last December has begun to spark some interest again as it was posted up on ShellCity today (thanks to Robin for the link). Doug Moore also posted in the comments a minor update to the launch script that shows how to persist settings.
I’ve been toying with writing the follow up article, that shows how to build your own image, include your own applications, etc. Is this something that people would be interested in?

I would be interested, I was thinking about making a custom Media Center Extender using Orb services (which work on a pocket pc) to stream median from my Windows Media Center PC to a portable CE box.
Not sure if it’s possible

I really like the job on CE you did! I got a question though, I really would like to find a way, to save the settings I have to put every time now. That would really be great!
