What on earth is this?

I’ll tell you: It’s a Hostess HoHo Pie, courtesy of Randy (I’ve been holding on to this picture since the super bowl). I had a stomache ache for 2 days after having a small slice. Apparently, there’s other interesting recipes up at Planet Twinkie, such as Ho Ho Pudding and the Caramel Snail On A Log.

By the way, can anyone tell me the difference between a Ding Dong and a Ho Ho?

I can tell you that a Ho Ho is swirled counter clockwise and a Yodel is swirled clockwise. Also, Drake owns Hostess, or the other way around - I don’t remember - but I found out WAY too much about both when I went searching for stuff online.

I never had Ho-Hos or Ding-Dongs growing up: I had Little Debbie Swiss Cake Rolls and they’re very close to Ho-Hos.

I think a Ding-Dong has the same ingredients as a Ho-Ho, but it’s shaped like a small cake rather than a roll like the Ho-Ho.

Check out these pictures of classic Hostess packaging to see the difference: http://www.geocities.com/hostess_chocodiles/Hostess_Characters_On_Boxes.html
