Randy and I checked out the Thunderbirds game last night. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a ‘live’ hockey game (college actually), but as usual hockey provides an evening of entertainment:

  • Watching 2 adults dressed up as Pikachu.
  • A crazed fan with a collection of fan gear including an electronic bullhorn, signs and some sort of horn. Thus, we dubbed him "HornMan".
  • Watching the crowd throw pucks, teddy bears and fish on to the ice.
  • A screaming banshee 8 year old behind us.
  • Of course, a fight or two on the ice.

Hockey: priceless.

Actually, the HornMan is more commonly known (by the people who previously got my tickets) as “Gandalf” or “Gandalf on Ice”
