Nero MediaHome (New Version)

Looks like Nero has published a new version of Media Home, which has "Greatly improved compatibility with 3rd-party devices".
I really hope this latest update fixes my earlier experiences with it. I’ll post my findings later tonight.
Update: Big shock, it still crashes the D2730.
