My personal battle to regain control of daily digital bombardment continues!
While I have already started to take steps in ’simplifying’ the computers around the house (by starting to live the ‘Exploding PC’ lifestyle), and have finally found a better way to manage my idea schizophrenia by moving to the Moleskine as my PDA, the next task on the list is to regain control of my email and to-do list.
Back in December, I started to look into the "Getting Things Done" methodology, and ended up both buying the book and downloading the Audible version (funny enough, due to the lack of time and not reading the book). While I think this will be a useful way to manage tasks, Omar mentions ClearContext (blog), which by the sounds of his post, sounds like something that I really need to check out.
I get hundreds of emails every day and really need a better way to handle the constant distraction.
