Dear Tivo,
I know you’re really excited about Tivo To Go, I am too. But I don’t exactly understand your priority list - I signed up for 16 days ago and still haven’t seen the update. In the future, it would probably be a good idea not to announce something as ‘available’ when people can’t get their hands on it.
If we’re being completely honest, the only reason I still have a Tivo is that my wife likes it. Perhaps it’s the funny cartoon guy who dances around when the box starts up, but with other PVR options (such as the Comcast box), complete home media solutions (such as Windows Media Center), and small computers used as home servers (macs too) that are now available and offering many more features, I’m not going to be a customer for much longer.
Thanks for your time,
Patiently Waiting
P.S. My Media Center DVD jukebox is really awesome if you’d like some ideas on taking your boxes to the next level.

I got the update last night, I think I signed up on the 2nd. Agreed that Tivo’s handling of this update sucked.

I found out that tivo2go was released from your blog and put myself on the priority list immediately. I just forced an update and got the software finally.
