Richard Horne has a new book out entitled "101 Things To Do Before You Die" (found via moleskinerie).
From the excerpt: "If you have the courage to undertake them, these 101 things will change your life. Learn to fly a plane, go on a demonstration, meet your idol, milk a cow-there are a million things to do before you die, but only a hundred and one will change the way you live life now. 101 Things to Do Before You Die is an essential companion for anyone who wants to enjoy life as it races by."
While I like the concept (and I’ll be certainly adding some of these ideas to my own list), I believe that everyone should have their own unique list of things that they want to accomplish, what they want to see, and where they want to go.
Personally, I’ve found keeping track of them prevents life from just passing by.

This makes me think of the social software 43Things (http://www.43things.com/home/). You make a list of the 43 things you want to do this year; you can see who else wants to do those things (and encourage or discourage each other). Once you’ve completed one, you can rate and comment.
With hooks into various blog engines as well.
Cheers .. Kate
