[Windows For Devices] AMD has released a hardware/software reference design kit (RDK) for a tiny, low-power, single-board computer based on its Geode GX 533@1.1W processor. The Geode GX SOM-144 RDK supports both Windows CE and Windows XP Embedded, and is ideal for applications where power, size, performance, and reliability are critical, AMD says.

This is a small embedded motherboard (4×2.7 inches) that can run Windows XP, XPE or CE. While it’s not the fastest on the block, I see a huge potential for these. Think about the Exploding PC - these micro-boards could provide the building blocks.

More details at AMD’s website.

My only question: Where can I buy one?
