Wireless Joysticks

A few weeks back, I mentioned that I was playing around with wireless gaming in the home theater. At the time I had picked up a Thrustmaster Wireless Gamepad, which to this day, I still cannot get it to properly calibrate (it drifts to the left). Not wanting to really devote a whole lot of time to this, I gave up after a few days.
Of course when I was in Frys yesterday (and having absolutely no will power when it comes to gadgets), I saw that Logitech has released their new Cordless Rumblepad 2 gamepads, so I figured I would give it one more shot.
Wow - what a difference. I plugged the gamepad in and it instantly was calibrated. I fired up Halo, configured the pad, and quickly had my butt handed to me.
No matter - it’s cool. Playing Halo at 106” is a pretty awesome experience - I think I have to give Madden NFL 2005 a try next (provided I can get it working in widescreen).
