Although I’ve been a cable subscriber my entire life, I’m just about to dump Comcast and move over to DirecTV. Right now I can go with a DirecTivo unit, plus 3 additional receivers for other rooms for only $99. In addition, the monthly charges are about $20 lower than cable (for more channels), so it seems like as good as a time as any.

My only question is: How well does DirecTV work with Windows Media Center edition (for the home theater)? Does anyone have any experience with it?
