Reading, Revisited

Well, it’s been a month since I vowed to start reading again, so I thought I’d post a progress report.
- I managed to get The Time Traveler’s Wife on to the top of my nightstand, instead of in one of it’s drawers.
- I ordered The Curious Incident of the Dog In The Night-time based on recommendations from Joel and various other bloggers. It’s made it to the top of the nightstand.
- The only book that I have actually started reading is Joel on Software: And on Diverse and Occasionally Related Matters That Will Prove of Interest to Software Developers, Designers, and Managers, and to Those Who, Whether by Good Fortune or Ill Luck, Work with Them in Some Capacity.
Oh well. It was worth a shot.

It seems like all I’m doing is recommending stuff today.
I recommend It’s not about the bike: autobiography of Lance Armstrong.
I don’t usually go in for this kind of thing, but it’s pretty compelling to get inside the head of a guy who is that driven.
