Finally got around to getting myself a new Sony DSC-W1 5.1 megapixel camera to replace my old Canon Digital Elph. The beautiful 1.5” LCD and the ability to use standard AA batteries when in a pinch was what finally sold me on it - although I was a bit leery at first since the camera uses memory stick. I ended up running down to Fry’s today to get a 256MB card, since I was only able to take 11 hires photos on the supplied card.

Anyways, I’m happy to say after a day of playing with it I’m extremely happy. While not a super high-end SLR, it fits the bill for what I need it for - taking great pictures of my wife and son.
