Spent the weekend packing up the house for the big move this week. We’ve anxiously awaiting the new place to finish construction since last June, so I’m pretty excited that it’s finally here. I can’t wait to play with all the new wiring - I have multiple Cat-5 and RG-6 lines to each room (gigabit ethernet!) as well as additional in-wall speaker wires for whole house audio and a back room which I’ll be building out over the summer as a ‘Windows Media’ theater room (and yes, I’ll blog my plans as well as construction updates).

None the less, packing still sucks.

BTW, Furrygoat will experience some minor downtime at the end of the week when I move the server to the new house.
