Babies get rashes - it’s unavoidable. Our doctor recommended applying Bag Balm, which you can get in any drug store and the results were quite amazing. Things cleared up almost instantly.

Imagine my surprise when I read the packaging the other night:

BAG BALM Ointment
Used for over 100 years on cattle, horses and other domestic animals. It’s loaded with lanolin!

For CATTLE: Helps soothe small injuries, rash chapping; massage of caked bag. Softens and moistens skin.
For Pets: Helps soothe cuts, scratches, skin irritations, and paw abrasions. Pets are in good hands with BAG BALM. For over 100 years, BAG BALM has been a fixture down on the farm. It goes on fast - and stays on!

EXCUSE ME! What! I just applied this to my child!

I know! As crazy as it is, it worked on my baby. He’s 13 months old and had the worst diaper rash ever from his antibiotics. We did everything the prescription creams, home remedies, even had his butt dyed purple (an antifungal dye they use on animals too - but it does work). When his Barney butt started to wear off, my sitter told me about Bag Balm. I was surprised to find it in the pet section at Wal-mart, but it really does work!!! And my hands haven’t been softer! =0)

Try it on rough dry chapped hands you will be amazed at how well it works…..
