I spent time reading IronyCentral. I laughed my ass off. I needed that. I’m drained, tired and ill. I highly recommend checking it out if you have a child, are planning on a child, or are expecting. Heck, just go over there and read it. It’s funny.

This morning’s lesson (at 5am) was that no matter how much a child cries, babies can find a way to manipulate you into not being mad at them. I mean, how could you? After a reasonable fit (time has no meaning when a baby is screaming - was it 10 minutes or an hour), Tyler settled down, looked at me right in the eyes, and smiled. Sure it could of been gas, but it seemed different than the smiles I’ve seen from him before. It’s pretty cool being a dad sometimes.
