As usual the super bowl halftime show stunk. I’ll be curious to see if the ‘end’ of the show was an accident or not (Janet Jackson getting part of her outfit ripped off). We had to re-watch it several times on Tivo - it didn’t look planned, and she didn’t look particularly happy.

Update: Statement by NFL Executive Vice President Joe Browne regarding the Super Bowl halftime show: “We were extremely disappointed by elements of the MTV-produced Halftime show. They were totally inconsistent with assurances our office was given about the show. It’s unlikely that MTV will produce another Super Bowl halftime.”
