MSN Video Enhanced

As everyone probably already knows, Microsoft released MSN Video News a few weeks back. I’ve actually been using it quite a bit and I really like the service - it delivers some really high quality ‘on demand’ news and some great content.
Yesterday, I noticed MSN Video Enhanced. Basically it’s for broadband users: you can get ‘higher quality video’ delivered right to your desktop, and it installs an icon into the notification tray (the little area near the clock) to let you know when new ‘enhanced’ video is available.
Here’s what I don’t understand: it’s memory usage is almost 10MB and 2.5MB of virtual memory. What on earth is this thing doing? It drives me completely nuts when software installs processes that sit around in the background chewing up memory. Sure I have 512MB of RAM, but it doesn’t seem like it with all these programs eating up massive amounts of memory (I still can’t fathom why MSN Messenger needs 19MB and 13MB of virtual).
Sorry to say, I’m going to uninstall MSN Video Enhanced (or at least remove it from startup).
