I’ve managed to get my MSDN library into a pretty wierd state on several machines. Whenever I open help as a stand-alone program (not launched from Visual Studio), the Visual Studio Enterprise Architect install dialog pops up wanting to “fix” my installation. Hitting ‘cancel’ brings me right to the help page, but this is really annoying. I’ve even tried deleting the Common\Office10\mso.dll file as some google searches have suggested. No luck.

The real crazy part: I uninstalled Visual Studio and the Jan 2004 library, reinstalled and it still happens.
