[News.com] Streaming media provider RealNetworks on Thursday sued longtime nemesis Microsoft on antitrust charges, accusing the software giant of illegally using its Windows monopoly to hurt digital media rivals.
This cracks me up. The only reason I personally made a concious decision to take Real off my computer 2 years ago (way before I worked at MS) and vowed NEVER to install it again was that the software was fair at best, and their install program was putting all sorts of junk on my machine (like AOL Messenger).
I maintain the simple fact: If you build good software, software that excites and engages people, people will use it.
Update: Looks like im not the only one to feel this way about Real.
