Fun with Outlook

Imagine my surprise today when I received an email with some interesting comments in the header. Notice anything wierd?
After I got done staring/laughing at the offending email, I took a look at the headers (right-click, select “Options”) when I discovered the following:
It seems that by simply adding/modifing the X-Message-Flag header, you can get messages to pop up into the status area. Apparently this isn’t news, according to the Anti-Outlook Page.X-Message-Flag: Your mom dresses you funny
The scary part? It’s not hard to do this at all: Create a new message. Click on the little red flag to “flag for followup”. In the “Flag To:” field, just type anything you want and whamo, it shows up in the header.
Interesting.
