[Everest News] Tonight in the Herbst Theater, San Francisco, ‘Farther than the Eye Can See’ will have its West Coast premiere. Blind Everest summiteer, Erik Weihenmayer, whom the film is about, will be there as well as director, Michael Brown of Serac Adventure Films.

I’ve been anxiously waiting to see ‘Farther than the Eye Can See‘, as it was being filmed when I was doing my trek on Everest. Our trekking party met up with Erik’s group several times, and it was just amazing to see him in action - it was truly inspirational.

Hopefully, it will be coming to Seattle soon.

Jeremy also informs me that the Everest Imax is playing at the Pacific Science Center again. While it’s out on DVD (and the “making of” is worth the price of the disk), I have to check it out on the big screen.
