While I still am planning to switch over to satellite and over-the-air (OTA) HDTV when we move into the new house (in fact, i’ve already sent in the wiring plan for it), that’s still like 7 months out especially since the framing has been delayed again. In the mean time, I decided to switch over from digital cable to Comcast’s HDTV cable where i’ll get ABC (KOMO), KCTS, ESPN, and Fox Sports (KING5 is coming soon). Even better? It doesn’t cost any more per month (and only $15 to install the box). Looks like ill be getting the new DCT-5100 box aswell.

Comcast is supposedly coming out this morning to install it - let’s see if they hit the 12-4 window. I’ll report back later today on how the install goes, and my thoughts on HDTV.
