[Windows For Devices] Addison-Wesley announced the release of a new book, Pocket PC Network Programming, by Steven Makofsky, a software design engineer on Microsoft’s .NET XML Messaging team and a former Microsoft Embedded MVP. Makofsky’s book provides a handy tutorial and reference for writing network applications that support Pocket PC 2002 and Pocket PC 2002 Phone Edition devices.

Sweet! So far it’s been hard to tell how the book is doing via Amazon sales rank. One moment it was at 65,000, then a few hours later at 3,590. When I checked back it was back up to 45,000 or so.

Update: Just checked again, its at 7,729.
