[AT&T Wireless] The Top 10 Ways to be a more courteous cell phone user
Um, ok. I was reading someplace (where it was, I can’t remember), that they actually had actresses dressed up in Grand Central Station telling noisy cellphone users to “Shhhhh!”.
Update: Here’s the article from Mobile Village. “AT&T Wireless this week is hiring actresses and musicians in a wireless courtesy publicity effort at New York City’s Penn Station. From today through July 11 from 7am to 7pm at Penn Station, older actress playing “Grandmas” will politely “shush” those talking too loudly on mobile phones, and conversely, compliment those practicing good wireless etiquette with a: “that’s very nice honey.” The Grandmas are also distributing literature, $25 accessory coupons, and candy as positive reinforcement.”
