[Korby] Yes, you can use drive mapping to connect to a VSS db remotely. I must warn you though, this is an interesting hack but it’s slower than a dead banana slug on a wet Seattle morning. If you want to do any work on the files in a VSS 6.0 or earlier database from home, do yourself a favor and connect over a VPN using terminal services (Run->MSTSC).

Not sure how usable it is, but a cool hack none-the-less.
