Now that Robert has made it up to the rainy northwest, I thought I’d shoot him a quick email with some of the local favorites here in Redmond, which reminded me of Victor’s Coffee Company.

There are a few things you can count on when it comes to coffee up in Seattle. Starbucks is convenient and consistent. Once in a while, Tullys can be good, but is usually totally unpredictable. Victors is hands down the best cup of coffee you can drink.

From what I’ve heard, the place started out as one of those small espresso stands you see on every corner gas station up here. It quickly grew into a local obsession, opened a shop, and is usually packed with people (well, it is every time we drive by it). Anyways, if you’re up in the Redmond area, it’s a must if you like coffee. You’ll never have Folgers again.
