Aggregator Woes

So, i’m looking around for a new RSS Aggregator for XP. I’ve been using Amphetadesk pretty religiously the last several months, today, it decided to throw this at me:
Program fragment delivered error ``Can't use string ("There is no discussion root name") as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at D:\Amphetadesk\lib/AmphetaDesk/Channels.pm line 116.''
Even so, I’ve wanted to move to something that wasn’t browser based.
I’ve tried Newsgator. I love that product - it feels right. However, as funny as it sounds, I find that with Newsgator I end up spending too much time reading news when it’s integrated into Outlook. I know it sounds silly, but just knowing that some feed has been updated makes me want to read it now. It’s a sickness really. It looks like I’m not the only one with the problem too.
I just fired up Syndirella. It’s fast, but feels unpolished in many ways. It’s lacking several features that I would like to see.
Perhaps I should just write my own. I dunno. I don’t have time for that right now.
Anyone have any suggestions?
