[The Register] Smartphone 2002 is another tribute to Microsoft’s belief that users want to edit Word files on whatever device is in their hands. So they started with the Windows OS and began cutting. But there is a limit to the amount of weight you can lose and still maintain ‘necessary’ Windows compatibility.

As usual, The Register has posted another article that is mostly anti-microsoft opinion rather than being based on any facts.

While I haven’t played with a physical Smartphone device (which is based on Windows CE, not the core Windows which The Register would have you believe), having the ability to leverage my development skills as well as code I’ve already written on to the phone is a tremendous plus for me.
