Here’s the latest book update: Currently working on Chapter 9, which deals with using and extending ActiveSync - topics such as building Synchronization Service Providers, the Remote API, etc are all covered in detail.

So far, I’m pleased with the feedback I’ve been getting from the advanced technical reviewers - each chapter seems to have a different level of “importance” to each individual. One will say that the chapter that deals with writing software for the Pocket PC Phone Edition is worth getting the book alone, while another says covering ActiveSync is really important. A third reviewer just told me that the Compact Framework stuff is the most valuable. I just hope that the book will fill a big void in the Pocket PC developers world (or their bookshelf at least :) ).

On tap: 4 more chapters left. I can vaguely see the light at the end of the tunnel - I should be finished writing in the next few weeks, then the editing process begins.
