Whoa! According to both Yahoo and News.com Sendo has dumped Microsoft and the Smartphone. According to Sendo’s homepage: “Sendo has terminated its Smartphone development program utilising the Microsoft Windows Powered Smartphone 2002 software. As a result, Sendo regrets to announce that it will not be shipping the Z100 Smartphone. Although a set back, we are pleased to announce today that we have licensed the Series 60 platform from Nokia for our smartphone category.“

This does not bode well for MS (which is too bad now that I was just starting to take an interest in the platform).
